URBAN LIST
“Once you step inside Moonstruck’s snug interior, you’re immediately enveloped in the warm lighting and glinting mosaic marble floors that emanate old-school European cafe vibes. You’ll notice right off the bat that a big part of Moonstruck’s charm is in all those unique, well-thought out details.”
ESCAPE
“At the end of Hastings Street in Noosa Heads you’ll find this brand-new bolthole that focuses on coffee and, in particular, gin. Owners Boy Driessen and Mell Thompson peddle independent bottles from across Australia (think Brookie’s Dry Gin or Noosa-based Fortune Signature Dry Gin), serving them up via a cocktail menu that includes a Negroni, a Martini made with Adelaide Hills’ dry vermouth, and a Full Moon Bloom that’s built with green tea and lemon. The venue itself is a looker, with a mosaic marble floor, rendered walls and soft lighting.”
Bondi Wash
“If you're a fan of coffee and gin then you need to try Moonstruck, a small bar combining their very own boutique coffee with a unique range of locally sourced gins.”
Gourmet Traveller
“The coffee is precisely brewed, and small-batch roasted by co-owner Boy Driessen at Cooroy Coffee Roasters. Gins are mainly Australian and frequently local, with a few hard-to-get overseas options in the mix. In-house treats are also thoughtful – organic and gluten-free with sourdough and pastries from Noosa's Tanglewood Bakery. There are vegan options, too."
The Holiday and Travel Magazine
“Enjoy boutique coffee and gin sourced locally and throughout Australia.”
